Job Summary:
Equinox IT Solutions seeks a Business Analysis, Analyst to support data management and conversion activities for financial systems modernization projects.

Responsibilities:
Work with System Integrator (SI) and government technical and functional leads to provide advice and support on the development of data management plans for data migration
Assist the with establishment of a Data Management Integrated Project Team (IPT) and facilitate subsequent Data Management IPT activities
Work with the SI and provide advice and support on the development of the high-level strategy for Data Management and Conversion that provides a roadmap for performing the migration of data from legacy systems to the new modernized system
Assist in the establishment of Data Security and Management Policy, Processes, and Procedures
Ensure compliance with Data Security mandates
Attend data conversion meetings, review products, ensure all data anomalies are addressed before migration to the new system and that reconciliation between systems, ledgers, etc. are completed.
Support the JPMO Data Management lead in the oversight and review of all data management plans and artifacts.
Review plans developed by the SI and support the implementation of data management, data cleansing, data dictionaries, data migration, data conversion, data archiving, backup and recovery plans, and products.
Review Component legacy system data and ensure an accurate understanding of the data elements, structures, and quality is recorded.
Setup staging environments for data cleansing and conversion activities.
Assist Components in preparing for migration of legacy data into a new integrated financial, procurement, and asset management system such as executing mock data conversions and cutover activities.
Support Departmental and Component level Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse (DW) efforts in conjunction with third-party BI/DW offerings.
Work with the JPMO and the SI to facilitate the design and development of report and query designs.
Work with the SI and Functional Testing lead and provide advice to the JPMO on the development of test scripts for reports and ensure the data is reported as expected.
Perform data mining and analysis..

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience aligned to the responsibilities listed above
Experience with core financial systems, enterprise resource planning systems, or related feeder systems (asset, procurement, payroll, position management)
Experience with COTS systems such as CGI Momentum, SAP, Oracle Federal Financials, Peoplesoft Maximo, Tririga, and Prism

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with DHS
Experience working with system/product owners, users, and other stakeholders

Education:
BA/BS, preferably in data science, data management, or a IT-related field

JOB SUMMARY:
Works collaboratively with other system engineers, developers, and leadership to provide back-end systems and application support for complex business applications. Responsibilities include project planning, systems integration, network security monitoring, and performance monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and developing detailed documentation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
_Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effective analyses for total systems.

_CCIE certification preferred.
_Juniper certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
_5 to 7 years of data center operational experience – deign, configuration, installation, and deployment of highly scalable servers.
_Experience with the implementation of TIA data center standards.
_5 to 7 years of experience in implementing projects independently.
_5 to7 years of experience in web server farm, load balancing and n-tier architecture.
_Experience in the design, configuration, deployment, and installation of Foundry Networks equipment preferred.
_Experience with AIX, RedHat, Solaris 10, and CentOS.
_5 to 7 years’ experience in designing, implementing, and supporting technologies such as DNS, HTTP, SSL, CIFS/NFS, load balancing, and LDAP.
_5 to 7 years’ experience in VMware and related technologies (ESX and Virtual Center).
_5 to 7 years’ experience working with complex network technologies, such as layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, web content filters, and VLANs.
_Experience in a medium-large scale SAN environment.
