JOB DUTIES: Design data migration architecture using EMC tools. Perform storage allocation, data migrations for operating systems such as EMC storage arrays EMC Vmax, Powermax, Isilon and more. Day to day provisioning of storage and capacity planning (Storage device selection/creation, Zoning, LUN Masking). Manage and deploy LUNS from EMC storage frames to multiple servers using the SYMCLI, Navisphere Manager and Provide on Call Support & day-to-day troubleshooting SAN related issues. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Master’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT /Computer Networking/ Engineering (any) or closely related field with Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Developer or closely related area.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience should include 6 (six) months in using EMC tools is required. Travel and/or Relocation to unanticipated Client Sites Throughout USA is required.
