Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic UI Developer to join the Equinox IT Solutions LLC team.
Responsibilities:
_Work with UX/UI Designers to create an intuitive user experience
_Implement development best practices through abstraction of software elements
_Participate in all aspects of the agile scrum process.
_Clearly communicate and document your design decisions.
_Develop and enhance UI components.
_Work with the backend developers and architect to ensure data from APIs to the UI.
_Solve complex problems using innovative thinking.
_Ability to work with other team members to understand code changes and review business requirements to match development activity.
_Collaborate in team code reviews including pull requests.
_Debug code and find problems.
_Translate UI/UX designs into code.
_Work with less experienced developers to teach best practices.
Qualifications:
_Bachelor's degree and 3+ years related experience, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
_Ability to develop, test, implement and maintain complex applications
_Experience developing web applications.
_Experience working in a Windows, MacOS, and/or Linux environment
_Complex problem-solving skills
_An understanding of basic software engineering concepts
_Understand authentication techniques such as (JWT, OAuth)
_Web technologies (HTML or HTML5)
_Frontend languages (JavaScript, Typescript)
_Experience with at least one frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, VueJS)
_Experience with at least one frontend styling technologies (e.g., CSS, SCSS, SASS, Grunt, or Bootstrap)
_Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
_Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
_Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
_Experience with database technologies (MYSQL, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MongoDB)
_Excellent technical writing skills.
_Excellent verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
_Experience writing unit-tests for frontend frameworks and technologies.
_Ability to design, develop, and maintain applications within the cloud environment.
_Experience with database technologies (MYSQL, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MongoDB).
