Job description:
We are looking for the best and brightest IT talent to take our company to the next level and transform our ordering and payment experiences for our customers. To achieve this strategic initiative, we are currently seeking a Web & Mobile Application Developer to join our team to build customer-facing ecommerce web applications with our vendor partners and integrate ecommerce web applications to central commerce solution's APIs.
Responsibilities:
· Full stack application development (from front-end to data/API driven back end code)
· Refine application architecture in a cost-effective way to meet the organization's changing business requirements while continuing to meet service level agreements (SLAs) for availability and performance.
· Partner with architecture team to make recommendations on how we build web and mobile solutions.
· Review and recommend implementation technologies, best practices, and skills for application delivery success.
· Document and communicate updated architectural patterns, component design, and development processes.
· Develop and deliver on time high quality applications that meet the requirements provided by the greater team.
· Work with business area teams to help translate mockups into working prototypes.
· Be an advocate for ways in which web and mobile technologies can improve our restaurants, both for our customers and our team members.
· Provide code review to other developers to suggest improvements.
· Manage complexity of working on, or supporting, multiple projects at a time.
· Be an escalation point for our helpdesk for vendor solutions.
· Ability to work and collaborate with back-end engineers on integrating front-end applications with our back-end API services.
Required Education & Experience:
· Education/Certifications - BS in Computer Engineering, preferred.
· Years of Experience - 3 years experience in web and mobile development.
· Knowledge and application of sound SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
· .NET development experience using Web API, MVC and mobile optimized websites.
· Knowledge of Web application security, web services and SOA architectures.
· Working knowledge of pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS Mobile first design philosophy with strong responsive design skill set.
· Understanding of basic design principles (alignment, typography, focus, white-space, contrast, etc.).
· Architecture and application design experience in the development of complex consumer web applications.
